Liangzhu Forum has been successfully held in Hangzhou for three times, provoking a lot of thoughts. Regarding how to promote the dialogue among civilizations, Xiong Chengyu, the professor of Tsinghua University, proposes to set up Hangzhou Cultural Stations in Singapore, Dubai, London, Paris, etc., with permanent exhibition areas displaying the replicas of Liangzhu jade ware, West Lake Longjing Tea samples and Hangluo fabrics to tell the story of Hangzhou.
The short-term goal (within 3-5 years) is to upgrade Liangzhu Forum to the global benchmark platform for civilization dialogue, establish the youth heritage guardian program, and attract young people from all over the world.
The long-term vision (within 10-15 years) is to cooperate with more than 10 world heritage sites, 50 overseas universities, and 80 international cultural institutions, to make Hangzhou become a core window for showing Chinese civilization and promoting mutual learning among civilizations.
