The 2025 Zhejiang Agricultural Fair opened in Hangzhou on Nov 21 and will run through Nov 25, drawing huge crowds despite the cold weather.
As one of the province's most popular agricultural brand exhibitions, the fair brings together more than 3,500 enterprises and over 40,000 products across six themed halls, showcasing the latest in agricultural development, local specialties and modern rural industries.
This year's fair features exhibitors from across China, with Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Henan, Hunan, and Guizhou participating for the first time. From deep-mountain delicacies and coastal seafood to time-honored snacks and trendy bites, visitors can experience a vibrant picture of Zhejiang's integrated urban-rural development.
The halls feature diverse highlights: modern agricultural machinery, specialty product demonstrations, regional showcases, and livestream zones hosting over 50 online influencers. Popular items — from Cangnan meat dumplings and creative beverages to seasonal fruits like Xiangshan Red Beauty mandarins — have quickly become crowd favorites.
To support trade and industry matchmaking, the fair has invited more than 5,000 buyers, set up dedicated negotiation areas, and scheduled multiple brand presentations and promotional events.
This year also introduces millions of yuan in consumer vouchers, along with joint promotions from airlines, ride-hailing services and e-commerce platforms, making the fair an immersive blend of shopping, tasting, learning, and fun.
