Starting from November 20, China implements the online application measure for foreigner entry cards. The port in Hangzhou also fulfills this measure.

Foreign tourists can conduct the online application through multiple channels such as the Official Website of the National Immigration Administration, “Immigration Administration 12367” App, and WeChat/Alipay Applet. The entire process only takes a few minutes, and there is no need for handwriting or printing, so that customs clearance and verification are more efficient. The frontier inspection station in Hangzhou sets up the convenient passage, and arranges for police officers to assist the online application.

Since the beginning of this year, the number of foreigners entering China through the port in Hangzhou has reached about 386,000, with a year-on-year increase of 31.6 percent.
