From January to October, Zhejiang's total import & export amount of foreign trade reaches 4,600 billion yuan, with a year-on-year increase of 5.3 percent. The import & export volume and the export scale respectively take the third and second places in China.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) becomes the largest trading market, with the trade volume of 710.61 billion yuan, up 16.2 percent. The import & export volume with the countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative is 2,630 billion yuan, with a growth of 8.4 percent. Private enterprises contribute more than 80 percent of the import & export volume.
