According to the transport data during summer vacation, the passenger flow of Hangzhouxi Railway Station exceeds that of Hangzhou Railway Station located in the center of the city, becoming the second largest railway station of Hangzhou. This is related to the connection of multiple newly-opened high-speed railways to Hangzhouxi Railway Station.

It is reported that, in the future, Hangzhou will add several railway stations, including Qiantang Railway Station and Hangzhou International Airport Railway Station in the east of Hangzhou, as well as Linpingbei Railway Station, Lin’an Railway Station, and Changhua Railway Station.
