2025 marks the 80th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the Chinese People's War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, and is also the 80th anniversary of Yu Dafu's martyrdom.

Yu Dafu from Fuyang in Hangzhou is the modern famous writer and revolutionary martyr. The International Academic Symposium on "the literature during the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and the 80th Anniversary of Yu Dafu's Martyrdom" was held in Hangzhou on August 15. Scholars from China, USA, Japan, Singapore, Republic of Korea, and Malaysia initiate the cross-border dialogue on the literature during the World Anti-Fascist War, and pay a tribute to this great martyr.
