Hangzhou boasts 299 museums, reputed as the "City of Museums".

During the summer vacation, all museums extend their opening hours, and launch unique experience activities, which are highly popular among tourists. Zhejiang Provincial Museum (Zhijiang Branch) has received 239,000 tourists in July.
