At 4:30 am on July 16, a cargo plane loaded with about 100 tons of exported cross-border e-commerce goods took off at Hangzhou International Airport and headed for East Midlands Airport in Derby (UK).

According to Hangzhou International Airport Customs, in the first half of this year, the import & export freight volume of Hangzhou International Airport reaches 112,500 tons, with a year-on-year increase of 3.47 percent. Among them, the export freight volume is 97,500 tons, up 19.61 percent year-on-year; in the export freight volume, the cross-border e-commerce freight volume occupies more than 60 percent, becoming the main force of the airport.
