Recently, the elevated roads of Hangzhou have been lined with colorful flowers. About 2.15 million rose plants involved in more than 40 varieties bloom to offer a stunning "sky flower corridor".

The netizen post online, "Dear Hangzhou people, taxes that you paid have blossomed." Hangzhou boasts 500km-long roads decorated with roses, which is the green innovation initiative launched by Hangzhou after 17 years of efforts, and has become a model for urban ecological construction in China.

Officials noted, "2025 is a year full of surprises, as Hangzhou will make Chinese rose culture go global, and share the urban greening model with the world."
