Lu Peilong's team from Hangzhou Westlake University has made a great breakthrough in the field of AI protein design.

Lu Peilong's team uses AI to first achieve the precise design of small molecule binding transmembrane protein in the world. This achievement was published in the international academic journal Nature in February, 2025.

This research has great potential in disease treatment, drug research & development, biosensing, molecular detection, synthetic biology, and other fields. It is also in the field favored by the Nobel Prize.
