Recently, Shangcheng District in Hangzhou has released its first district-level plan to boost the urban biodiversity conservation.

The plan establishes the protection pattern of “one zone, three sources, thousands of demonstration points, and multiple study areas”, and clarifies several measures, such as forest and wetland conservation, urban green space utilization, ecological citizenship cultivation, and biological product development.
