On December 12, the First Asian Esports Week Hangzhou kicked off at Hangzhou International Expo Center. It will last for four days. Guided by the Olympic Council of Asia, it marks Hangzhou's first major international e-sports exhibition since the inclusion of e-sports as an official event in the 2023 Asian Games.
The event includes exhibitions, business exchanges, brand tournaments, and talent training. Asian Esports Technical Level Certification Center was inaugurated at the opening ceremony.
The players from countries & regions like China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong (China) and Taipei (China) in Asia compete in popular esports events.
Hangzhou will continue to strive to advance its journey to an international esports hub in the post-Asian Games era.
