Tsai Chih-Chung, an internationally renowned cartoonist, has lived in Xixi of Hangzhou for 15 years, regarding Hangzhou as the second hometown. He is fond of Hangzhou's natural & exquisite scenery and thousand-year-old cultural context, and created 248 comics, including Lu Yu's Classic of Tea, Hangzhou Cuisine, etc.
Tsai Chih-Chung considers that, the environment of Hangzhou is invaluable, allowing him to carry out creation with meditation. He donates his works to China National Archives of Publications and Culture (Hangzhou Branch), and sets up Xixi Tsai Chih-chung Art Museum to display about 400 excellent comics. Hangzhou's emphasis and investment in culture make Tsai Chih-chung willing to contribute to this city. He noted, "Hangzhou is a place that truly regards culture as the soul of urban development."
