Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway starts trial operation as new option from Hangzhou to Shanghai

On November 23, Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway entered the stage of trial operation. It is expected to open by the end of December.
This high-speed railway connects Shanghai, Suzhou in Jiangsu, and Huzhou in Zhejiang, spanning 163 km and a designed speed of 350 km/h, setting up eight railway stations.
In the future, the residents in the west of Hangzhou could take Huzhou-Hangzhou high-speed train to Huzhou, and then transfer to Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou high-speed train to Shanghai Hongqiao High-speed Railway Station, which will take about one hour.
