2024 Hangzhou Marathon kicked off at Huanglong Sports Center on November 3, attracting about 36,000 participants.

This year's event continues to use last year's route. The ending point of the full marathon is set up at Hangzhou Olympic Sports Center Stadium. Some players noted, "This reignites the sports enthusiasm of Hangzhou Asian Games, and the experience of running into the Asian Games venues fulfills the sports dream."

Interestingly, the event introduced robot pacers for the first time. The large one provides the time limit reference for half marathon players, and the small one accompanies the players for fun run. At the ending point, the humanoid robots greet the runners who have completed the event, providing them with emotional value.
