2024 FAI World Drone Racing Championship is held at Shangcheng District Stadium of Hangzhou on November 1-3, attracting 111 players from 32 countries and regions.

Hangzhou's thriving digital and intelligent industries, coupled with technological innovation, facilitated the hosting of this event. Chen Weiqiang, deputy mayor of Hangzhou, noted that the championship would boost Hangzhou's low-altitude economy.
