At present, Hangzhou Federation of Trade Unions has rolled out six policies to advance the childcare services of employing units, such as deepening the construction of childcare service facilities, encouraging diversified childcare models, providing affordable childcare services, giving medical & educational guidance, cultivating professional talents, and strengthening support.

A subsidy of RMB 75,000 will be granted to each union that establishes new childcare services.

Between 2023 and 2024, the childcare institutions of four employing units in Hangzhou were included in the list of the national love childcare units. Hangzhou’s committed to improving its reputation of a child-friendly city in the future.
