This year, the community canteens in Hangzhou show an increasing trend, and roll out new moves. Dongxinyuan Grand Canal Community Canteen is located at Dongxin Sub-district, Gongshu District, Hangzhou, and launches baby meals, which breaks the stereotype that the canteen is a dining place for elderly people.

Shen Xiaojun, the person in charge of community canteen, said: “The baby meal is specially created for children in the community. The babies can directly come to the canteen to taste delicious food after completing their course at the Infant & Baby Growth Station.”

The supply of baby meals solves the cooking problems for novice parents, which receives unanimous praise from nearby residents. In the future, the baby meal will optimize its operation based on the number of diners.
