2024 AIPPI World Congress kicked off on October 19, and will continue until October 22. This event is held in China for the first time since its establishment.

Themed "balanced protection and innovative development of IP rights", it attracts about 2,300 intellectual property professionals from 92 countries and regions. They discuss the draft resolutions on four intellectual property topics related to patent, trademark, copyright, and exercise of right.

During the event, more than 30 academic activities regarding intellectual property are organized. In addition, the cultural activities with Hangzhou characteristics are launched, including Night of Culture, and light shows.
