People paddle through the forested waters of Qingshan Lake in Lin'an district, Hangzhou.
As autumn arrives in Hangzhou, Qingshan Lake's water forest has become a scenic hotspot for numerous visitors.
Nearly 7 hectares of pond cypress and bald cypress trees, along with floating duckweed and colorful boats, create a melodious ecological landscape. As tourists paddle through the forested waters, the lake's duckweed-carpeted surface is as surreal as a something from a movie.
Located in the northern part of Qingshan Lake, the water forest spans 50,000 square meters and is home to over 10,000 towering trees, averaging 30 meters in height. As the weather cools, the trees will begin to change color, promising an even more breathtaking view in the coming month.
