Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway which opened on September 6 has been put into operation for one month, and it sees a passenger traffic of more than 720,000.

The high-speed railway stations are set up in Xianju, Pan’an, Hengdian, Pujiang and Nanxi River for the first time. The number of passengers is over 420,000. Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway improves the traffic conditions of areas along the line, and greatly promotes the development of local tourism.

The relevant person in charge of Xianju County said, “Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway has opened for one month. The policy of benefiting the people is launched. For example, the tourists holding the high-speed train tickets can visit the scenic area free of charge. The number of tourists visiting Shenxianju and other scenic areas has a year-on-year increase of about 30 percent.”
