Recently, two cultural landmark projects of Hangzhou have made progress, such as China Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum, and Jiangcun Dragon Boat Culture Museum.

China Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum is located beside Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal (Hangzhou Section) in the north of Hangzhou. Inspired by Chinese calligraphic strokes, it resembles a museum floating on the Grand Canal. The project is expected to be completed in 2025.

Jiangcun Dragon Boat Culture Museum is located in Jiangcun Sub-district, Xihu District, Hangzhou, shaped like a dragon, symbolizing the long-standing culture of Hangzhou. The project is expected to be completed in 2026.
