The 2024 Apsara Conference opened on Sept 19 in Cloud Town, Xihu district, Hangzhou. Over the next three days, the conference will feature three major forums, more than 400 sub-forums, and a 40,000-square-meter exhibition area.

On the opening day, three main forums will cover trending topics like large AI models, autonomous driving, and robotics. Notable figures, including the head of the PKU-Galaxy General Embodied Intelligence Joint Lab, Nvidia's global VP, and the chairman of Xpeng Motors, will all participate.

This year's conference features three themed pavilions, delivering what is being hailed as the best-ever experience in terms of participation, applications, and interactive engagement.

The AI Pavilion will showcase various large AI models, such as Alibaba's Tongyi, Baichuan, Kimi by Dark Side of the Moon, and GLM-4 by Zhipu·AI. Attendees can experience hands-on demonstrations of image, 3D, and video generation, as well as smart coding.

The Computing Pavilion offers a comprehensive view of China's cutting-edge cloud computing landscape, highlighting the latest innovations in cloud technology for the AI era.

The Frontier Applications Pavilion will feature presentations from China's top humanoid robotics companies, like Stellar Era, Galaxy General, and Unitree, along with AI applications from industry leaders such as Starbucks, Giant Interactive, and Leapmotor.

In addition to exploring these exhibitions, attendees can immerse themselves in interactive experiences like the Apsara Smart Castle, where they can witness the AI innovation process from start to finish.
