A Chinese musical called Su Dongpo was staged at Hangzhou Dongpo Theater on September 13.

It tells a story of Su Dongpo as the famous poet of the Song Dynasty who had served as the official in Hangzhou for eighteen years.

The drama features more than 20 Chinese original songs, employs numerous paintings and poems by Su Dongpo, and depicts the beautiful scenery of Hangzhou's West Lake, showcasing the poet's love for Hangzhou.
