The 2024 China International Fair for Trade in Services is being held in Beijing from Sept 12 to 16. Zhejiang province, adopting the theme "Zhejiang Services, Serving the World," is showcasing its latest advancements in service trade through one comprehensive and six specialized exhibition areas, focusing on new services, intelligent manufacturing, and emerging business models.
This year's event marks the debut of Scietrain, a company that offers a unique experience in human-machine interaction through highly humanized AI technology, which combines high emotional intelligence with strong logic. Their AI companions are designed for various applications, such as smart healthcare, personalized education, and support in corporate decision-making.
Other highlights from Zhejiang include AI digital employees, autonomous driving systems, the world's largest all-electric multi-rotor drone for agriculture, and a one-stop global payment solution.
With the theme "Global Services, Shared Benefits," this year's CIFTIS features over 450 Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders. Zhejiang's exhibition spans 200 square meters, with nearly 50 companies participating. In 2023, Zhejiang's service trade exports and imports reached 597.96 billion yuan ($83.98 billion), up 17.84 percent from the previous year. In the first seven months of 2024, that figure grew 26.77 percent to 363.59 billion yuan.
Zhejiang aims to leverage CIFTIS's role as a national platform to exchange and learn from global service trade practitioners, showcasing "Zhejiang opportunities" to the world.
