The summer travel season ends at railway stations in Hangzhou. The number of passengers hits a new high, reaching 20,511,000, with a year-on-year growth of 4.8 percent.

During the summer vacation, short-distance travel is very popular. Its passenger flow triples that of long-distance travel. Sales of both children's and student tickets have seen an increase compared to last year.

To meet the travel needs of passengers, the railway departments of Hangzhou adds the trains during peak hours and towards popular destinations, and enhances services through setting up stations and increasing volunteers.
