On August 31, as train tickets for the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival went on sale, tickets of multiple trains from Hangzhou to Huzhou, Jinhua, Ningbo, and Shanghai sold out. These passengers tend to go on a short-distance travel, so routes within a two-hour drive are very prevalent.
The ticket prices of the flights from Hangzhou to Singapore, Bangkok and Chengdu during the Mid-Autumn Festival are lower than those during the National Day holiday, with higher cost performance. For example, the minimum one-way ticket price of the direct flight from Hangzhou to Singapore is only 1,004 yuan, significantly less than that during the National Day holiday.
After the peak travel during summer vacation, room prices of some hotels remain at the off-season level to attract tourists to travel during the Mid-Autumn Festival.
