On August 20, Hangzhou Zero-Magnetism Medical Equipment Company, jointly established by Beihang University, its technical team, and an investment company, officially announced the successful research and development of a magnetocardiography device, marking a significant breakthrough in the zero-magnetic medical industry.

This innovative medical device utilizes ultra-sensitive, extremely low magnetic field measurement technology to accurately capture the weak magnetic signals emitted by human organs in a near-zero magnetic field environment, providing a novel approach to disease diagnosis. Compared to costly magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment, the magnetocardiography device is not only more economical but also possesses 100% independent intellectual property rights, marking a milestone in the medical equipment field.

Currently, the magnetocardiography device has been piloted in hospitals such as Hangzhou First People's Hospital, with research underway in multiple provinces and municipalities, including Shandong, Jiangsu, Guangdong, Shaanxi, and Chongqing. Based on these studies, scientists have established the world's largest functional database of extremely low magnetic field imaging for acute cardiovascular diseases, achieving a 94.6% accuracy rate in identifying acute myocardial infarction and providing robust support for early diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.

As the commercialization of scientific achievements accelerates, the magnetocardiography device is expected to evolve towards smaller size, lower cost, and higher sensitivity. In the future, such devices may become widespread in hospitals, communities, and even households, becoming part of home medical equipment and offering more convenient healthcare services.

Hangzhou's path of scientific innovation is broadening. With the construction of a major scientific facilities innovation ecosystem, the cycle of scientific achievement transformation will be significantly shortened, paving the way for the rapid transformation and application of scientific achievements.
