Sinotrans Limited has recently partnered with Hangzhou Aviation Economic Development Co to launch the eHub project in the Hangzhou Airport Economic Demonstration Zone.
This global smart logistics hub, located near Hangzhou International Airport, will cover 14 hectares and cost approximately 1 billion yuan ($140 million). The project includes a 150,000-square-meter warehouse and integrated office space, with plans to begin construction by the end of 2023 and operations by late 2027.
The eHub aims to enhance cross-border e-commerce logistics and boost Zhejiang's air freight sector. Sinotrans, which is ranked fifth globally in air freight volume, will leverage its expertise to strengthen Hangzhou's competitive edge in logistics. The project supports the "Zhejiang Goods, Zhejiang Routes" initiative, enhancing the region's cargo export capacity.
