Hong Kong's Olympic epee champion Vivian leads team to visit Hangzhou

"Strive and Rise Programme" Study Team launched by the Government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region visited Hangzhou on August 12. Within five days, about 80 youths from Hong Kong will visit the West Lake, Hangzhou Asian Games Museum, etc., to learn about the culture and development of Hangzhou.

In the study team, the most eye-catching one is Vivian Kong Man-wai, a player from Hong Kong who just won the champion of the women's epeeindividual event at Paris Olympic Games. She shares her experience in sports, and expresses her hope to contribute to the society at work.

"Strive and Rise Programme" aims to depend on the cooperation among governments, enterprises and people to assist youths in broadening their horizons, enriching their knowledge, developing a positive outlook on life, and cultivating their sense of national pride and identity with Chinese culture.
