Recently, Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway has made significant progress as the erection of high-speed railway catenaries is completed.

The 163.8-kilometer-long railway, with a designed speed of 350 km/h, will connect the Huzhou-Hangzhou high-speed railway at Hangzhouxi Railway Station. Upon completion, Hangzhouxi Railway Station will first open the high-speed trains to and from Shanghai, facilitating the travel of citizens.

In addition, Shanghai-Suzhou-Huzhou High-speed Railway will be connected to Hangzhou-Wenzhou High-speed Railway through Hangzhouxi Railway Station, strengthening connection among Wenzhou, Hangzhou, Huzhou, Suzhou, and Shanghai.
