On August 1, Hangzhou's famous swimmer Ye Shiwen advanced to the final of the women's 200m breaststroke at the Paris Olympics with a time of 2:23.13 in the semifinal.
Ye Shiwenwon two gold medals of the 400m and 200m individual medley events at London Olympic Games when she was 16 years old. Later, she retired twice and made two comebacks. At the age of 28, she is back on the Olympic stage now.
In an interview after the semi-final, she confessed that she would like to enjoy the process and achieve her personal best at the Games. For Ye Shiwen, the goal in Paris is not about winning gold or setting world records but achieving her personal best.
On August 2, she will compete in the final of the women's 200m breaststroke and the preliminary of 200m individual medley.
