According to the China's National Meteorological Center, Typhoon Gaemi is expected to land in Fujian between this afternoon and tonight. Influenced by the typhoon, Zhejiang activates the emergency response for typhoon control (Level III). Hangzhou raises the emergency response for typhoon control (Level IV).

The typhoon has a significant impact on the south area of Hangzhou including Chun’an and Jiande. The main urban districts in Hangzhou would see local showers. The highest temperature of Hangzhou is estimated to reach 34-35℃ today and tomorrow.

The typhoon would result in the temporary suspension of some passenger trains at Hangzhouxi Railway Station in these two days.
