Hangzhou plans to launch 1,500 parent-child shared bikes in order to alleviate the contradiction between parent-child travel demands and potential safety hazards during summer vacation.

Such bicycles are operated by Hello Cycling, Mobike and DIDI Bike. Their lease method and expense are the same as the ordinary shared bikes. The children’s insurance is given for free.

New bicycles are provided with heat-resistant seat cushions, rustproof child seats and waterproof seat belts to offer a comfortable ride.

Hangzhou Public Bicycle has been put into operation for a long time. The parent-child red bicycles were launched in 2019. At present, there are 10,616 such bicycles.
