Qiandao Lake in Chun'an county, Hangzhou
Qiandao farm products from Chun'an county were showcased at the Hangzhou Citizen Center as part of the municipal support for rural vitalization. The event featured a variety of lake and mountain delicacies.
The two-day event included the "Flavorful Chun'an" food display and the "Qiandao Farm Products" exhibition. In addition to promoting Chun'an's unique cuisine and food culture, the event aimed to enhance the "Qiandao Farm Products" brand. It also featured special agricultural products from Batang county, Ganzi Tibetan autonomous prefecture, Southwest China's Sichuan province, to support brand creation, marketing, and industrial development in the region.
At the Qiandao Lake "Letaotao" fruit booth, vendor Fang Guochun enthusiastically greeted customers and introduced them to peaches, plums, and pears, which were all priced at 20 yuan ($2.75) per kilogram. The highlight was the award-winning honey peach, which received the "2022 Zhejiang Premium Peach" gold medal.
In the Citizen Center cafeteria, 10 dishes showcasing Chun'an flavors were served, including braised organic fish, specialty tofu, garden potatoes, and homemade pork.
"We hope that people will not only enjoy the culinary delights of 'Flavorful Chun'an' but also have a richer experience in terms of food, lodging, and travel in Chun'an," said Cheng Wangzhen, director of the Chun'an county government affairs service center.
