Starting from July 5, all the A-level tourist attractions in Hangzhou have canceled the reservations, except for cultural expo venues.
This move facilitates the travel of tourists. On the second day of policy implementation, Ms. Lu, a tourist from Anhui, successively visited Leifeng Pagoda, Deshou Palace, Xixi Wetland and other scenic spots together with her friends. She said: "We have a more flexible itinerary and a more comfortable tour since there is no need to make reservations in advance."
The move leads to a surge in tourists, and further tests the management of the scenic area. On the first weekend after the cancellation of reservations, the queue at the Zhejiang Museum of Natural History was nearly 100 m long.
Sun Mengyang, a professor of the Tourism College of Beijing Union University, said: "The scenic area needs to launch flexible management and people-oriented service to alleviate congestion."
