A few days ago, Hangzhou started to build a new rural complex called Xinqianjin Commune.

The project is located in Qianjin Sub-district, Qiantang District of Hangzhou, spanning about 1.8 million square meters, featuring three areas including Rural Ecological Lounge, Farm, and Riverside Agricultural Tourism Zone.

"Rural Ecological Lounge" has started construction. It is expected to be operated by the end of the year, involving three areas like leisure countryside, family carnival, and inquiry-based learning hub.

The project has industrial learning and experience venues including workshops, and sets up the research base for primary and middle school students.

Next, this complex will also form the green tourism zone together with some landmarks such as Hangzhou Qiantang Greater Bay Area Wetland Park and Dongsha Lake Park, to boost the development of agriculture, culture and tourism in the east of Qiantang River.
