On July 8, one community in Shangcheng District of Hangzhou launched the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) milky tea free of charge, attracting a lot of locals.

The staff introduced that the milky tea was made of Chinese medical herbs, tea, fresh milk and sugar. The milk tea featuring various medicinal materials are classified into different products with effects like dispelling dampness, invigorating the spleen, performing hair care, and relieving summer heat.

One resident said, "I thought the TCM milky tea was bitter or had a strong taste. But in fact, the taste of Chinese medical herbs is perfectly combined with the milk flavor."

The new product can not only cater to the trend of drinking the milky tea, but also meet the health needs of middle-aged and elderly people.
