El Salvador Investment Promotion Conference was held in Hangzhou on July 11.

El Salvador is located in Central America. Many entrepreneurs attending the conference express their strong interest in the local market of El Salvador, and the convenience of entering the emerging markets in North America, Europe and South America through El Salvador’s local market.

Hangzhou has cooperated with El Salvador many times since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and El Salvador, covering the signing of friendly cooperation memorandums, project construction, and agricultural technology exchange.

The Salvadoran ambassador to China said: “In the field of digital economy, Hangzhou takes the leading position. This is why we come to the beautiful city.” 

Hangzhou’s advantages in the digital economy will promote the economic transformation of El Salvador, while El Salvador’s resources and environments will bring new opportunities to the cooperation between the two sides.
