The 1,100th KFC restaurant in Zhejiang province officially opened in the Quzhou Ancient City cultural tourism area in Quzhou on June 28.
The Quzhou Ancient City, known for its rich Confucian cultural heritage, blends leisure, cultural retail, and culinary experiences. The newly opened KFC on Xianxue Road has not only become a cultural landmark but also marked another milestone in KFC's 31-year history in Zhejiang.
Upon entering the restaurant, visitors are greeted by a large hand-painted mural featuring the Chinese characters for "Quzhou". This mural artistically incorporates local landmarks, with each detail narrating a story about Quzhou.
Inside the new KFC restaurant, Quzhou also welcomed its first KCoffee outlet on the same day. KCoffee, KFC's coffee brand, aims to offer high-quality, affordable coffee options tailored to the preferences of younger consumers.
The first KFC restaurant in Zhejiang opened on May 18, 1993, on Renhe Road in Hangzhou. Over the past three decades, KFC has rooted itself locally, continually innovating and bringing modern operational and management practices to Zhejiang's food and beverage industry.
In 2023, KFC served as the exclusive Western fast food provider for the Hangzhou Asian Games. Leveraging its robust supply chain and product innovation capabilities, KFC successfully fulfilled its catering duties, introducing Zhejiang's menu to international guests.
