On June 21, Hangzhou rolled out 15 new moves to boost outdoor concerts, events, exhibitions, trade and tourism, in a bid to become an international metropolis for big events.
These new moves tend to facilitate these five aspects to fuel ecomonic growth including outdoor concerts, events, exhibitions, trade, and tourism, driving economic growth thanks to the travel rush during big events which unleashes consumption potentials. According to the new policy, the maximum subsidy of 1 million yuan is given to enterprises and institutions that come to Hangzhou to hold outdoor concerts, competitions and exhibitions, a special subsidy is issued to special major events, and consumer cards are offered to encourage consumption.
