2024 Zhejiang & Taiwan Cooperation Week kicked off in Hangzhou on June 12, themed new productive forces and integrated development of Zhejiang and Taiwan.
Twelve Taiwan-funded projects were signed at the opening ceremony. During the event, Zhejiang will sign 47 Taiwan-funded projects, totaling 4,342 million US dollars.
A representative of Taiwan-based enterprises reckoned, "As the leading digital economy city, Hangzhou boasts the excellent business environment."
Yao Gaoyuan, mayor of Hangzhou, stated that Hangzhou is willing to share development opportunities with enterprises and merchants of Taiwan, aiming to jointly boost cross-Strait digital economy.
Next, special economic and trade events will be launched in Jiaxing, Jinhua, Shaoxing, Lishui, Wenzhou and Ningbo of Zhejiang.
