Hangzhou has released a new policy on trade-in of old vehicles, aiming to advance trade-in of 80,000 old vehicles by 2027, with more than half of them being new energy vehicles.
Consumers can receive a subsidy of 10,000 yuan or 7,000 yuan for scrapping eligible old cars and purchasing new ones.
Consumers can apply for subsidies through online platforms, and also scrap old vehicles in other cities. Besides, new vehicles purchased in Hangzhou can be licensed in other cities.
