To celebrate the World Children's Day, which is tomorrow, Hangzhou Children's Park and Hangzhou Zoo will host a variety of exciting Children's Day themed activities, including lively carnivals and enriching science experiences.

Hangzhou Children's Park will offer free admission to children under 14 years old or under 1.5 meters tall on June 1. There will be a grand opening ceremony for the special Children's Day celebration at the Sun Plaza from 10:00 AM to 10:40 AM. The ceremony will feature captivating performances, including the dance "Run, Baby Elephant Fulai!", the song "Half a Lifetime of Snow," and the group dance "Journey to the Tea Mountain." Moreover, the park will give away 100 tickets to the adorable children's theatre production I am a Panda as prizes for a fun animal knowledge quiz. Put your animal knowledge to the test and see if you can win a ticket to this charming show, which follows the adventures of a panda and its 17 animal friends.

As part of a carnival, a stamp collection activity will be held at the Sun Plaza in Hangzhou Children's Park from 9:30 AM to 4:00 PM on June 1 and 2. Participants who collect all seven stamps will receive a small gift at a designated location.

Hangzhou Zoo will also be buzzing with fun activities on June 1. Insects are the largest group of organisms on Earth. They play a vital role in our ecosystems. At the zoo's visitor service center, educators will lead fascinating science lectures about insects. Children will get to explore hundreds of insect specimens, learn to identify common insects, create their own insect specimens and beautiful insect crafts, and embark on a wondrous journey into the world of insects. But wait, there's more! Hangzhou Zoo has a special surprise for the kids: the chance to adopt flower chafer larvae and witness their amazing transformation into striking flower chafers with careful and scientific care.
