The Shanghai British Chamber of Commerce inaugurated its Zhejiang office in the Hangzhou International Talent Entrepreneurship and Innovation Park in Gongshu district on May 14.
Chamber President Stephen Phillips emphasized that the new office will provide targeted support for businesses seeking to internationalize through a series of pragmatic and efficient activities.
During a parallel roundtable discussion at the event, representatives from the University of Manchester, Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC, PwC, Deloitte China, and local Zhejiang enterprises engaged in deep conversations with Gongshu district's financial, education, and student services departments. They discussed fostering the China-UK friendship, promoting business cooperation, and supporting companies' international development.
Additionally, on May 14-15, a series of China-UK intelligence and resource connection activities took place in Gongshu. European life and health projects visiting China held exclusive meetings with local enterprises to explore cooperation in talent, technology, and industry.
Since last year, Gongshu has focused on promoting international entrepreneurship and innovation among talent, resulting in the establishment of 13 projects by companies like France's Manbo Security Technology, Norway's DNV GL, and Finland's Outotec.
