On May 11, Hangzhou held an international academic conference on healthy growth of infants. About 360 scholars from China, USA, Germany, and other countries gathered in Hangzhou to explore the development and childcare of infants in the new era.

As a pilot city, Hangzhou takes the lead in childcare service takes through out the country. The coverage rate of childcare institutions in Hangzhou reaches 99.48 percent. The first community service station for infants’ development is built up in Hangzhou.

The conference also launches an international program for infant’s development by collective efforts of global colleges & universities, research institutes and hospitals to advance the course.
