According to an announcement released by the railway ticket office, ticket prices of multiple high-speed trains will be adjusted after June 15. The ticket prices of high-speed trains from Hangzhou to Shanghai, Ningbo, Jinhua, Nanchang and Changsha increase by about 20 percent.

The ticket prices of Shanghai-Hangzhou, Hangzhou-Ningbo and other high-speed trains at a speed of 300 kilometers per hour and above rise according to the announcement. However, the price will vary based on factors such as season, date, time slot and seat class.

It is said that, the daytime ticket prices are more expensive, and the morning and nighttime ticket prices are cheaper, for high-speed trains from Hangzhou to Shanghai, Ningbo, and Jinhua.

The second-class seat fare of the high-speed train from Hangzhou to Changsha grows from 405 yuan to 485 yuan. During the slack season for tourism, the air ticket price is about 420 yuan. Taking an airplane is the best choice.
