It is expected that the number of passengers at Hangzhou International Airport would hit record during May Day holiday. Domestic trips will see an increase of 6.9 percent compared to last year. Beijing, Guangzhou, and Shenzhen become popular tourist destinations.
Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Osaka, and Tokyo will be popular destinations for outbound trips. Hangzhou International Airport has operated 27 international, Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan passenger transport points, and increased the frequency of flights to visa-free destinations like Singapore, Bangkok, and Phuket.
