China National Tea Museum is set to hold a series of events in the scenic area of West Lake in Hangzhou, capital of East China's Zhejiang province, inviting people to try the renowned Longjing Tea and enjoy tea culture.
The events are part of the 2024 West Lake Longjing Tea series. Tea enthusiasts will be invited to board boats and enjoy tea on the lake's central island. Renowned tea brands as well as locally produced teas from the China National Tea Museum will be showcased.
Tea masters will demonstrate the art of tea brewing, allowing participants to savor their tea while admiring the lake's beauty, creating a relaxed and charming atmosphere.
The event will feature the Yujin Boat, a new smart boat introduced by the Hangzhou West Lake Cruise Company. The boat's design is centered around the traditional Chinese phoenix motif, incorporating elements such as the Hanghzou's City Wall in Southern Song Dynasty (1127-1279).
Guests will have the opportunity to follow the tea masters in preparing tea and using Longjing Tea and Longfengtuan Tea powder to create tea soup paintings. They will also be able to witness demonstrations of incense blending, try custom-made tea beverages, enjoy performances inspired by Song Dynasty (960-1279) tea culture, and receive a special stamp as a souvenir.
