This year, Hangzhou's spring break for primary and middle school students is connected to May Day holiday, which lasts for eight days to prompt many families to choose to travel abroad.

In addition to Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand that maintain high popularity, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Japan, Korea, and other places become popular choices.

It is expected that Hangzhou will see a surge in inbound and outbound tourist flow during May Day holiday. The number of inbound and outbound flights will achieve a year-on-year increase of over 70 percent, with the average daily tourist flow of about 20,000 people and the total tourist flow of more than 135,000 people.

Parent-child tourists account for 50 percent of inbound and outbound tourists. Hangzhou Frontier Inspection Station will arrange for police officers to provide 24-hour services to guide and divert tourists and offer warm and quick customs clearance service.
